Much of my work over the last four years has focused on forms of mythology — particularly the Greek stories that illuminate the culture that gave us the concept of democracy.
“Mythology” is about the stories we tell ourselves and believe collectively. I am fascinated by the breakdown of agreed-upon historical ideals and the illusion of permanence that has been shattered by recent political events.
