Melinda Green Tepler is a painter and printmaker. She graduated from Yale University in 1977, and has since been recognized for her monoprints and photo plate etchings. Her paintings and prints have been shown at the Katonah Museum of Art, the Center for Contemporary Printmaking, the Fine Arts Gallery of Westchester Community College, and the Bendheim Gallery in Greenwich. She is a founding member of Two Whippets Artists Guild, exhibiting bi-annually in Westchester, NY.  

Tepler’s prints and paintings of figures, landscapes, florals and animals are distinguished by their color, texture, and use of light to create movement. Her work often includes references to historical portraiture and mythology.

Her commercial work includes book writing and illustration, and paintings and prints in collaboration with the Westchester Theatre of Dance. 

Her paintings and prints are in private collections in California, Oregon, Colorado, New Mexico, New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. 

Melinda lives and works in Purchase, New York.
